Utilising strip grazing methods and moving cattle between paddocks, our standard gates couldn’t swing back fully, leaving them protruding into the paddock. This created risks for both people and livestock – animals could get caught or push the gate closed, and operators faced awkward, unsafe handling. 

Drawing on his fitting and machining background, Rodney designed a self-aligning, double-hinged farm gate that swings freely in both directions and folds flat against the fence line. 

The result is a smarter, safer gate that makes everyday farming simpler, more efficient, and less risky.
